I have been creating Instagram videos showcasing lifestyle content through the lens of the young, for the past 5 years. It had started out as accumulating experiences at concerts, moments with friends, that I shared online. I have since graduated to ‘TikTok’ videos, emulating the same retrospective look on youth, and have amassed 10,000+ views across videos. I am self taught in Photoshop, Blender, Final Cut Pro, and many other softwares involved in the editing and production of short clips, what seem to be an insight into life as a young person in the UK today, invoking nostalgia for those older, and inspirational for those younger.

I am currently in the process of rebranding my ‘YouTube’ channel, and other social medias to include and showcase videography that better aligns with my creative vision. I am currently in the process of filming ‘Trellick Tower: The Most Beautiful Building in Britain.” This is a documentary I have submitted to the Paul Mellon Centre. I choose the label ‘Creative Technologist’ as I am an avid enjoyer of creative technologies. I have been invited to the London Film Festival, through the BFI Film academy network, to attend exclusive industry events about the role of technology in creatives spaces. My professional experience in ‘Big Tech’ such as Microsoft and Google, have allowed me to bring a user-centred principle to all I do. I am currently working towards my Google UX Design Professional Certification, where I am currently learning to create ‘High-Fidelity Designs’ and prototypes in Figma.

At the centre of my academic studies, and what I choose to centre in my creative and professional development, is a commitence to the user, to centering peop;e and individuals. This is deeply centred in the mentoring organisation I run, Two Worlds Together By curating impactful plans and earning recognition for innovation and inclusivity, I showcase my capacity to drive change. I continue to personally write about important issues surrounding DEI and have recently been involved with the decolonisation project at King’s College London, ‘A History of King’s Colonial Past in 100 Objects.’

In my spare time this is what you’ll find me doing! I DJ all over the countries, combining a plethora of genres with music from my own culture. I have played events with 1000+ people, had opportunities to do live-streamed sets across the world, and even play at weddings for my loved ones! I am also a Broadcast Producer and Presenter, alongside my DJ-skills, on my own radio show at KCL Radio, every Monday 12-1pm!
